Charles K. Lawson '74

C. Keith Lawson, 52, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at his new home in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield on April 17, 1955, he was the loving and devoted son of Ruth Briddell Lawson of Orlando, Fla., and the late Alfred J. "Tut" Lawson, Jr.,who died Nov. 22, 1966.

He was a graduate of Lake Highland Preparatory School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Keith Lawson was a businessman whose multiple businesses included Shore Foods and Sandy Toz, both in Bethany Beach. He maintained residences in Fenwick Island and Orlando. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan, as well as an Orlando Magic fan for years. Keith was past president of the Bethany Fenwick Island Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Ocean City Ravens Roost at the Green Turtle and was a friend to cats everywhere. Keith leaves behind his best feline friend, "Charlie."

He is survived by his loving mother, Ruth Briddell Lawson of Orlando; his brother, Kim Lawson and wife, Tillie Doyle, of Crisfield; his sister, Kathy Lawson Dryden and husband, Larry C. Dryden, of Eden; his aunts, Phyllis Hayden and husband, Dr. John Hayden, of Lacrosse, Wis, and Joyce Briddell of Salisbury; sister-in-law, Ann Ward Lawson of Crisfield; his close personal friend and cousin, Emily Ann Muller of Baltimore; many cousins far and wide; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred J.

"A.J." Lawson III, in 2006.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield, where friends may call from 7 to 9 Saturday evening. The Rev.

Jack "Tad" Maroon will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
